Ropeboarding is a new extreme sport emerging out of kitchener. Its has the feel of wakeboarding with a street skateboarding edge. For more information go to http://www.ropeboarding.com

South Wooolwich Optimist Club will be operating a BBQ from 11:30-2 in the Pavilion at the ball park. Enjoy Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Sausage on a Bun, Potato Chips, Pop and Bottled Water. Proceeds will go to help community projects that the Optimist Club sponsors.

singer of songs for young children -  and their grownups!

 

Debbie Carroll is a singer, songwriter and musician, whose CD “Up and Over the Moon!” won a 2003 Parents’ Choice Award and a 2003 Children’s Music Web Award.  In 2004 she was nominated for a Canadian Independent Music Award - “Favourite Children’s Artist”.  Raised in a small village in rural Ontario (BRESLAU!), Debbie now lives in Toronto, where she has taught early childhood music for 15 years.  Her vast collection of children’s songs and rhymes includes new and traditional finger plays, action songs, dances and lullabies.

 Debbie enjoys sharing music with children and their grownups, in libraries, classrooms, stores and nursery schools. A multi-instrumentalist, Debbie plays piano, flute, Celtic harp, guitar.  She is sometimes accompanied by a musical friend, singer and guitarist Eve Goldberg.
